The Harrison Home is a vaulted straw bale "composer's cave." It was completed in 2002 on the edge of Joshua Tree National Park. The design integrates material, form, acoustics and traditional Egyptian architecture. On the northern side are three outdoor patios. On the south side is a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. The interior has sixteen foot ceilings with hanging chandeliers and a loft.
